From the four-bedroomed farmhouse, with its expansive views across farmland, Mahia Peninsula and the Pacific Ocean, to the three-bedroomed cottage nestled among trees and backing on to five hectares of native bush, these properties offer a real country experience amid stylish, picturesque seclusion. Together they can accommodate 13 people.

Stay for an indulgent weekend or allow time for a longer stay to totally unwind in the solitude. Explore Tunanui Station and the region's unique attractions.

Whatever your choice, the cottages provide a relaxing place for couples, families and friends to get away from it all. The proximity of Tunanui's accommodation lends itself to a large group or several families taking both cottages. The Farmhoue is ideal for these groups to cook and dine together.

The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a spacious comfortable home, ideal for extended country getaways. Built in 1975, it catches all day sun in its north-facing kitchen and dining room.

Its well-equipped kitchen invites guests to prepare local produce at leisure using fresh herbs straight from the garden.

The classic lounge has an open fire, television, video, CD player and a good range of New Zealand books. The four spacious bedrooms feature cotton bed linen and fresh flowers and there are two private bathrooms.

The Farmhouse is well-suited for couples, friends and families, study or work retreats or small reunions. A relaxing place for a longer stay, The Farmhouse provides a good base from which to explore the unique attractions of Tunanui Station and the wider region.
