Te Au farm includes a 50ha QE11 Trust Bush Reserve. A good track leads out to the river where trout may be fished or a day spent picnicking and swimming in the pools. If you are keen, hunting is available on the farm with pigs, deer, goats and small game. Guests are encouraged to join in the farm activities or participate in any social excursions around the Mahia Peninsula.
Mountain bikes are available for hire with well laid out tracks on the farm and through the neighbouring forest. The farm has a well maintained limestone tennis court and the owners are always looking for partners to play with.
