Tamahunga Gardens is situated in the Big Omaha Valley, near Matakana. On 27 acres, we have an Olive Grove, subtropical plants and trees, and organic vegetable gardens.

Tamahunga Gardens is managed with a combination of organic, biodynamic and permaculture principles.

Our Bed and Breakfast (B&B) is attached to our earth brick house. It is spacious, self-contained (with own kitchenette) and is ideal for one or two people. There is a king size bed with ensuite, pot belly stove and art by local artist Mark Wooller.

The setting is private and peaceful and overlooks the pond and towards the beautiful Mt Tamahunga.

Our aim is to provide you with a peaceful relaxing stay and to give you an experience of our property where we are promoting organic and healthy living.
