Welcome - our Colonial Homestay is your "home-away-from-home".

You are very welcome to share our quiet location off the main road with views over the island-dotted ocean from our Paku Hill home.

We can promise you magnificent continental and cooked kiwi-style breakfasts to start your day and afternoon tea on the deck where you can enjoy the ocean views.

Why not try a 20-minute walk to the top of Mount Paku for fabulous panoramic vistas of ocean, islands, the sea coast and Tairua River?

Our library has books on the local history of the area and all you need to know about the many daily activities available.

A short walk to the bottom of the hill takes you to several restaurants for your evening meal or enquire about our excellent barbeque facility.

Our accommodation includes two bedrooms:

TUI ROOM: Queen (and Single bed if required) with ensuite bathroom, own lounge & private balcony

KIWI ROOM: Queen bed, private bathroom & own entrance from large deck.

	Cathedral Cove, Hahei - Accessible only on foot or by boat, famous Cathedral Cove is one of the "must visit" sites on the Coromandel Peninsula. The track begins at the northern end of Hahei. Cathedral Cove Marine Reserve, Te Whanganui-A-Hei, covers 9 square kilometres and is New Zealand's sixth marine reserve. It is administered by the Department of Conservation. Hot Water Beach - Of course, NO visit to New Zealand would be complete without sitting on the beach in your own private hot pool at the world renowned Hot Water Beach! Hot Water Beach is NOT a secret! It is known around the world! Hot Water Beach is located along New Zealand's Pacific coast just south of Mercury Bay at the northeast tip of the Coromandel Peninsula.
