Black Dog Cotttage is also located in the beautiful Tuki Tuki River Valley.It is up a private driveway on farmland above the river with spectacular views across the river to the entire ridgeline of Te Mata Peak. While totally secluded, it is just 15 minutes drive from Havelock North, situated 4 kms upstream (south) of Red Bridge which crosses the river to take you to Waimarama.

Accommodation

The property has 2 bedrooms each with a king sized bed. Both beds can be split to allow a total of four single beds in 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There is a generous open plan living area in the centre of the cottage which contains a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas opening on to an outside terrace.

Ammenities include full laundry, open fire place, dishwasher, gas bbq, SKY TV, DVD, stereo,iPod connection.

	The breathtaking Tuki Tuki River Valley is the main attraction, however the river also provides opportunities for flyfishing, picnics, kayaking, summer swimming and easy walks with rich birdlife. Winery restaurants, Waimarama and Ocean Beaches, the Growers Market in Summer and the township of Havelock North are all just 15 - 20 minutes away. Napier and the new Cape Kidnappers Golf Course are an easy 25 minutes drive.
