Cape South Cottages provides luxury self contained accommodation in the glorious unspoilt countryside of Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. This quality accommodation is 40 minutes from the Hawke's Bay Airport at Napier, 20 minutes from the bustling village of Havelock North with its cafes, bars and restaurants and 25 minutes from the city of Hastings, and within 10 minutes of two of Hawke's Bay's finest beaches ... Waimarama and Ocean Beach. The House - Sleeps 6 The House, with its own unique vantage point, well away from The Cottage and The Hut, is a very special place. It is simply Hawke's Bay at its best. With knock out views of the breakers on Ocean Beach, it's a 1905 villa, featuring original native timber floors and ceilings, which has been lovingly restored and updated. It now has all you would wish for in a modern home, along with a relaxing tranquil feeling of space and light. Shady verandahs, large deck, lawn and a spa pool looking out to sea, are all features of this special property. However, if you fancy a swim, then pop down to the family's 14m heated pool, at the homestead ... or the sea is just 10 minutes away. • 3 bedrooms • 2 with Queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms. • The other made up as either two singles or a King with adjacent bathroom. • Large living room with wood burning stove and two side doors leading out onto the verandah and spa pool. • Spacious kitchen and dining room with two sets of french doors opening out onto a large deck with views to Ocean Beach. The Cottage - Sleeps 4 The Cottage was the first of our properties to be finished and was "open for business" in Spring 2004. A traditional villa style weatherboard property, the Cottage has a wonderful relaxed feel about it ... let it work its magic on you. Comfort and modern style are in abundance when it comes to the quality of the furnishings, linens, drapes, fixtures and fittings. Doze off on the verandah or soak up the sun in the secluded sunny garden. Stroll across the lawn to the pool for an early evening dip. Walk over the fields down to the stream and listen to the native birds calling from the bush. • 2 bedrooms • 1 with Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. • The other made up as either two singles or a King with adjacent shower-room. • Large open-plan living-dining and kitchen area with wood-burning stove. The Hut - Sleeps 2 Hide away for a night or two in this lovely little place, with its traditional weatherboard construction. The Hut, despite its size, is fitted out to the highest standard, with all the modern amenities that you'd expect. As with other cottages, comfort and style play a major role. Share a pot of freshly-brewed coffee or glass of Hawke’s Bay wine on the sunny verandah whilst looking out to sea; wander down for a dip in the heated pool, or just laze a few hours away in your own scent-filled "secret garden".
