McHardy Lodge is a centrally located, fully renovated 1890s residence offering luxury lodge accommodation with full gourmet cooked breakfasts, outstanding service and cosy open fires for the winter months. McHardy Lodge offers four deluxe superking suites and two standard Queen rooms, all uniquely designed, with fine linens and furnishings, polished native timber floor features and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. .
Venice Superking Deluxe
Enjoy the refinement of the Venice
suite, recline comfortably on the opulent chaise longue in the alcove
window or retreat out on to your private veranda. Sink into the
superking size sleigh bed crafted in rich cherry wood, with fine crisp
linens and bedding.
Indulge yourself in the Venice suite’s luxurious ensuite deep soaker tub and separate large shower.
Versailles -Superking Deluxe
This suite exudes understated elegance
and a warm and gracious style reminiscent of yesteryear. Snuggle into
the superking size bed with its fine linens and bedding or relax on the
elegant sofa as you enjoy the sun streaming through your windows.
Your senses will be delighted as you soak away your cares in the claw foot bath or refresh yourself under the separate shower.
Chianti - Superking Deluxe
Its name inspired by the rich red of Chianti wine, this suite is strikingly different with its bold colours and native Rimu furnishings. Full length sash windows give you direct access to the poolside verandah and leading to the heated swimming pool area.
Luxuriate after your sun-drenched poolside lounging in the deep authentic old-fashioned bath or in Chianti's generous tiled shower.
Alexandra - Superking Deluxe
Romantic and restful, the Alexandra
Suite is decorated in a blend of cream, gold and silver creating a calm
and tranquil atmosphere. A luxurious superking size bed with fine linens
and bedding invites you to unwind as the sunshine filters through your
French doors from the outdoor veranda. The Alexandra Suite can be
configured to accommodate 2 x King Single beds if you prefer.
The spacious bathroom features an old fashioned claw foot bath with a large rose overhead shower.
Chablis - Standard Queen
Decorated in refreshing lemon, forest green and Chablis grape colours, a
queen size wrought iron bed invites you to relax and refresh your mind
and body. Wicker furnishings reflect the emphasis on nature in this
room. French doors opening on to the veranda enable you to bring the
outside in.
The large Chablis ensuite features a shower but no bath.
Jonquil - Standard Queen
Shades of spring greet you in the
Jonquil room. A warmly inviting room with queen size bed that features
wrought iron bedstead. French doors open onto a private patio area which
provides direct access for those with special mobility needs.
The large ensuite facilities provide level access shower and other disability adaptations.
