The Mandeno House Gardens set the tone and ambience well before stepping through the front door. We have created a formal garden for your enjoyment, with over 30 varieties of whites roses, both outside and in. A private garden/courtyard is yours to dine in over the summer months, along with sheltered off street parking.

Discerning travellers will enjoy the elegant architecture of Mandeno House, a tribute to Henry Mandeno, a significant Dunedin architect (1879 ‚ 1973). Mandeno also undertook numerous commercial commissions, the plans of which are hanging at Mandeno House. All other artwork is that of local artists.

All rooms are luxuriously appointed; from wall to wall carpets to tiled ensuites. The well-appointed residence also has an elegant private guest lounge fully equipped for social gatherings with associates and friends.
