Welcome to The Old Glenmark Vicarage, a historic New Zealand landmark in the heart of the Waipara Wine Valley.

Built in 1907, The Vicarage is a beautiful example of late 19th century architecture set amongst 100 year old trees and established grounds. The house overlooks our boutique vineyard, the Vicarage’s wines are made by a neighbouring winery, one of the first in the region.

The Vicarage Barn

We invite you to relax and play at The Vicarage Barn, the renovated Barn/Stables for the historic Vicarage.

Stand alone and fully self-contained, The Barn has a unique rustic personality complemented with modern facilities, comfy beds, spa and swimming pool, and an idyllic setting overlooking vineyards and country fields.

We offer an optional breakfast tray with home-made and farm-fresh treats for you to cook and enjoy at your leisure. We can also provide bar-b-que packs, platters or home-cooked meals by prior arrangement.

Set deep in the heart of Waipara Valley, The Vicarage Barn is the ideal place for a couple, family or group of friends to get away from it all or simply use as a base to come back to at the end of the day.

Rustic, private, romantic – yet children are provided for and welcome
