Beachside Villas Motel is unique in offering you all the amenities of a modern, self-contained accommodation in Nelson, New Zealand and the atmosphere of a luxury, Mediterranean-style villa with beautiful private gardens and a large swimming pool (seasonal) where you can relax and enjoy the Nelson sunshine. (Nelson has consistently been rated as the sunshine capital of New Zealand).

The motel is also ideally located and only a few minutes drive to the Nelson city centre, the airport and within easy walking distance of the Nelson Tahunanui beach, local shopping, bars, cafes and restaurants.

For your convenience and comfort all our 6 units (studio, one bedroom and family) are fully self-contained, have comfortable king or queen-size beds, quality fixtures and fittings, phone, radio, CD stereo, DVD and SKY TV.
The upstairs rooms have spacious and sunny balconies with panoramic mountain views while the rooms on ground floor have patios and views of a bit of nicely landscaped garden which separates the complex from our car park that offers ample space to park your car.

With all our units having been individually decorated and exhibiting European design and great attention to detail, you can relax in style and feel truly at home. To make your stay even more enjoyable we offer an extensive and friendly service and a wide range of facilities including wireless access to broadband internet.

	Nelson offers a wide range of visitor experiences. The following is intended to give you some idea of what to do and where to go. Arts and Craft Nelson is noted as a centre for the arts and crafts. The region is home to over 300 full-time artists who work in many different mediums like pottery, ceramics, glass blowing, woodturning, fibre, sculpture and painting. You can experience the arts and crafts by exploring one of the 16 art and craft trails around the region. World of Wearable Art Nelson is the home of the World of WearableArt & Collectable Cars Museum . Beachside Villas is only minutes from this fantastic exhibition. National Parks Nelson Region has three National Parks with a variety of landscapes and vegetation. There is the golden sand beaches and bush walks of the Abel Tasman National Park, the alpine passes and glacial lakes of Nelson Lakes National Park and the alpine flora, limestone formations, table lands and wilderness walking tracks of New Zealand's newest National Park, Kahurangi National Park. Swimming and Relaxation Relax at Nelson city's famous beach which is only a few minutes walking from Beachside Villas. It is excellent for swimming and also popular with walkers, joggers, windsurfers and sunseekers. Amenities include the Lions Playground, Natureland, roller skating rink, Hydroslide and Bumpa-boats, the model railway, puplic tennis courts, mini-golf and a cafe. At Nelson city's backdoor, the Matai Valley is a picturesque valley and popular recreational area. The Matai river is warm and there are many picnic and swimming spots. Just 21km north of Nelson off SH6, Cable Bay has a stony beach with an unusual coastal landscape. There is good swimming as well as historical interest and the start of the Cable Bay Walkway.
