Accommodation

A tapestry of stone, cedar, natural light and rich fabrics, a dream home away from home.

The lounge at Cedar Ridge features double height windows, a large open fireplace with ceiling height schist stone chimney breast, sumptuous furniture and French doors that open out onto beautifully manicured lawns.

The fully fitted contemporary kitchen ensures entertaining is a pleasure with granite worktops and wooden edged cupboards, double oven, dishwasher and bread maker.

Upstairs there are four large bedrooms, including two master bedrooms with luxury ensuites; the two further bedrooms enjoy adjoining bathrooms. All the bedrooms have Queen beds, possum throws and stunning views across the valley. A further bunk room downstairs sleeps five – perfect for extra guests or children.

Touch of Spice can organise everything to ensure your stay at Cedar Ridge is perfect for you – from a romantic dinner for two served on the manicured lawn, to having a private chef prepare dinner for 12, or perhaps you would like to luxuriate and enjoy an in-house massage and spa treatment so you can relax and re-charge.

If you are an adrenaline junkie looking for thrills and spills, look no further than some of the amazing adventure activities on your doorstep – bungy jumping, river rafting, jet boating, canyon swinging, sky diving, parapenting, hang gliding, climbing – the list is endless! Alternatively you may prefer the slightly more sedate activities such as taking a trip of the "Lady of the Lake", TSS Earnslaw, or visiting one of the art galleries, world famous wineries, international golf courses or health spas. And of course some of the world’s most beautiful natural scenery is right on your doorstep – enjoy walking the Routeburn or Greenstone tracks, or visit the mystical Milford Sound, described by Rudyard Kipling as the 'eighth wonder of the world'.
