A traditional kiwi home in a stunning countryside location.  Originally the home of the major landowner in the area it has now been beautifully renovated by Geoff and Chris to make this a notable luxury accommodation for the discerning visitor to Northland.  The rare polished wood floors and plaster moldings are a delight.

The sub-tropical Park like garden surrounding 88 Lodge is simply stunning. A joy to wander through. Little and large botanical surprises abound.  The perfect location for Bed and Breakfast guests to access the Bay of Islands and all of Northland.  From walking to high adventure, golf and fishing to sun sea and beach, heritage and history. The Nikau Room

This delightful King sized double room includes a luxurious shower en-suite complete with heated towel rail and toiletries. Quality linen, anti-allergenic pillows and soft towels ensure your stay is restful and comfortable. There is a TV and DVD, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer and fridge, ceiling fan and heating to compliment. This room overlooks the secluded and tranquil sub-tropical gardens and the pool.  Private access, from both the house and the veranda which leads to ample parking within the grounds.

The King Palm Room

Large and airy, overlooking the sub tropical gardens.  King sized double bed with quality linen, anti-allergenic pillows, soft towels and robes ensure a restful and comfortable stay. Luxurious en-suite shower room facilities plus heated towel rail and toiletries.  There is a TV and DVD, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer and fridge, ceiling fan and heating to compliment. Private access from both the house and the veranda which leads to ample parking within the grounds.

The Majestic Suite

A truly huge room with a super king size bed which can also be presented as a King twin if you would prefer.  From your own private terrace step straight onto the lawns in the sub tropical gardens.  Your large en-suite bathroom has both bath and a seperate shower cubicle, heated towel rail and toiletries.  A computer with broadband connection for your convenience plus both internal and external seating.  Private access to both the house and the grounds which leads to ample parking.

The Queen Palm Suite

This delightful suite comes with it's own private deck into which is sunken your spa pool.   Your king size bed is fitted with quality linen, anti-allergenic pillows, soft towels plus robes ensure a restful and comfortable stay.  En-suite to a luxurious bathroom with both bath and a separate shower cubicle, heated towel rail and toiletries.  There is a LCD TV and DVD, complimentary beverages, hair dryer, fridge, and heating to compliment.  Private access to both the house and the grounds which leads to ample parking.
