'Garden' Cottage dates from the 19th Century and is one of three Cottages associated with our historic Tinui Station Homestead property. Our spacious 1 Bdrm Garden Cottage has been handsomely restored, retaining charm & character - but with all new conveniences. Sited on the perimeter of large grounds, lawns and mature trees around the homestead, Garden Cottage has views out into the surrounding farm park and north to landmark Tinui mountain on property.
Garden Cottage has separate north and east facing verandahs and patios, for the views, sun & BBQ's.... and although now "as new", still offers lots of 130 yr old character and genuine charm.
Polar Cottage
'Poplar' Cottage is one of three Cottages associated with our historic 19th Century Tinui Station Homestead property. The 3 Bdrm Poplar Cottage has been handsomely restored to retain charm & character - but with all new conveniences.
Poplar Cottage is surrounded by verandahs which add outdoor options for BBQ's etc - and for the views to the mountain. The whole property can be truly descibed as full of NZ rural history and special character - a quality 'escape' in some of the best of NZ countryside.
Hunt Cottage
The 3 Bdrm Hunt Cottage has been handsomely restored to retain charm & character - but with all new conveniences. Sited amongst mature trees in a farm park with views of landmark Tinui mountain on property.

Cottage is set in a 'farm park' within a natural pastoral amphitheatre. The cottage has great views of prominent Tinui Mountain to the northern rear of the property. (A walking track leads to NZ's first commemorative ANZAC Cross at the summit). Mature trees extend from the Station Homestead, reaching the Cottages and beyond - blending the 'farm park' with the broader landscape of circling hills.
Castlepoint Beach is less than 15 min. by car and offers an excellent family choice of ocean beach and a sheltered shallow inlet.
