Awatuna Beachside bed and breakfast is nestled between the Southern Alps and the wild West coast beach. In park like grounds with beautiful views of the coastline and Alps.

We offer indoor and outdoor relaxation with freedom to wander. Walk along the quiet beach, or just soak up the sun and peace on the veranda while enjoying a quiet drink. Maybe even visit our three goats.

A range of activities can be arranged. For the adventurous there is tramping/hiking, exploring the gold field trails or a spot of fishing. Our house has been purpose built and offers full ensuite facilities for every room. It is warm and quiet, with bedrooms that overlook the sea.

Meet our three cats Sam, Miranda and Max also our three goats and small flock of sheep.

Guestrooms

Awatuna Beachside Bed and Breakfast has three rooms available, one queen, one king, one twin and inside each room is an en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is either continental or cooked Kiwi breakfast. Evening meals can be provided with 24 hours prior notice cooked from home grown produce.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, have great views, you can open up the french doors onto the verandah and sit on your own chairs and table soaking up the great views of the sea and gardens.

	The beach is at your doorstep and running next to the property is the Waimea Creek which is perfect for beginner kayakers or a cool dip in the Summer. Walk along the secluded beach or sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the spectacular sunsets. The historical Goldsborough - Shamrock Creek Ecological Area is located about 5km from Awatuna. There you will find many walks which include features such as old goldmining tailrace tunnels in regenerating rimu, kamahi and tree fern forests.
