Dennis is a retired farmer and in recent years has worked as an Attendant at the local hospital.  Leaving Thames to go farming as a young boy, Dennis has returned to his home town after 40 years of being away.  He is a member of the Thames Golf Club and Tongariro Natural History Society.  He is interested in most sport and is currently playing golf and bowls.  He loves the sea and enjoys tramping with Pauline and the family.
