Bellbird Cottage at Lake Hawea is secure and private self-contained cottage accommodation, set in a tranquil alpine village with a pristine lake as a centrepiece.
Our Cottage is set in an attractive garden with extensive mountain and rural views with a peep of the lake that is just a short walk away.
A General Store, a Café/Wine Bar and a hotel both with 7 day dining are but a five minute stroll. Wanaka is 10 minutes away, and it is but a 90 minute drive to Queenstown – so you can enjoy the high life and come home to peace and quiet.
Our décor is tasteful and comfortable along with welcoming hospitality from your New Zealand hosts Marjorie, Brian and Sheila. The Cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, laundry, television, video and stereo.
Accommodation
The cottage bedroom has a queen and single bed and a double sofa sleeper is in the lounge. If required we have a double self contained bedroom adjacent, complete with ensuite and private entrance. At times this room would be available.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Should you wish, your log fire will be burning on your return from skiing.
Dinner is available by arrangement and is hosted by Marjorie with her sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Brian.
