Jill and Pete rebuilt their home into a modern Bed and Breakfast so that guests can enjoy a high standard of accommodation in Lake Tekapo. You will quickly realise that the colors used throughout the house reflect those that can be seen in the expansive landscape. On entering Alpine Vista you will instantly feel relaxed and sense that you are coming as friends into Pete & Jill’s home. The views from all angles are quite breathtaking. Alpine Vista offers 3 guest bedrooms all with ensuites.
Areas are scattered throughout the gardens where seating is provided for those guests who would just like to get away by themselves to read a book or plan the next day.

Alpine Vista Bed & Breakfast, Homestay in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand combines a luxurious bedroom and ensuite for each guest with large common areas.
The lounge offers panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps and this is where Jill and Pete invite guests to join them each evening from 5.30pm until 6.30pm for a predinner drink. This gives you an opportunity to meet other guests who are staying in the house before heading out to one of the fine restaurants Lake Tekapo has to offer.
In the morning a continental and full English breakfast will be prepared for you in our large country style kitchen. A great place to once again linger over a cup of tea or coffee while you plan your day around the Lake Tekapo area.
At Lake Tekapo Alpine Vista, we minimise chemical use through the Enjoy cleaning system, dyson vacuuming, recycling and composting when weather permits.
In the summer we have outdoor seating in various areas around the garden where you can sit and enjoy a drink, read a book or just take in the views of Lake Tekapo. During winter low-emission gas heating maintains a comfortable temperature.
Situated overlooking the township of Lake Tekapo, you are removed from the noise of Lake Tekapo, while remaining in walking distance of shops, the lake, restaurants and attractions.
