Built in 1905 by a wealthy banker, the house has been immaculately restored to it's former elegance, yet sympathetically combined with modern comfort. We offer luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in four beautifully appointed bedrooms Guests receive superior accommodation with unparalleled attention to their comfort, including the use of our well appointed Guest Lounge. We offer a free wifi internet service throughout the property and include a laptop computer for guest use.

Eden Park Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated in Mt. Eden, one of the central city suburbs of Auckland and is only a stone's throw from Eden Park, the premiere sporting venue in New Zealand and host to the 2011 Rugby World Cup. There is an excellent selection of restaurants and cafes nearby in Dominion Rd, Mt Eden Village and Kingsland, and for shopping, it is in close proximity to Auckland City and the St Lukes Shopping Mall.

Breakfast
We pride ourselves on our special breakfasts. It is a gourmet affair that is nourishing, flavourful and indulgent. The table is set with china, silver and linen. The menu comprises orange juice, fresh New Zealand fruits, yoghurt and muesli and homemade preserves. The hot section of your gourmet breakfast will tempt your tastebuds ... to say anymore will take the surprise away!

The Complimentary Breakfast is served anytime between 7:30am and 8:30am, and if you have any special requests, or dietary needs, please let us know in advance.

    Mt Eden Volcano
    Starting 250,000 years ago, small basaltic volcanoes erupted across the Auckland Isthmus.Some were violent eruptions where magma encountered water,but in the case of Mt Eden the magma rose without meeting water and produced a steep sided cone from localised scoria and ash, and fields from the quiet outpouring of lava flows.

    The crater is circular, about 180m in diameter and 50m deep.The southern side of the crater rim is the highest point on the scoria cone(196m above sea level), and is the highest point on the Auckland Isthmus.
