In our gracious heritage listed homestead we offer a relaxed and friendly but indulgently luxurious stay in a spacious and private multi room suite. Relax in our expansive private gardens but still enjoy restaurants, cafes, galleries and great shopping just a few minutes walk from your suite.

Privacy
Your Bronte suite occupies an individual wing of the homestead and has it's own private external entry as well as internal access - providing you with as much privacy as you desire. And enjoy exclusive use of our large salt water swimming pool.
Brontë Suite
Brontë at Prospect Hill offers accommodation to just two guests in the beautifully appointed multi-room Brontë Suite which features it's own private external entry ( as well as internal homestead access ), entry halll, lounge, bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. Brontë occupies an individual wing of Prospect Hill and so while part of the homestead our guests can enjoy a sense of seclusion if they wish.
The Brontë Suite is fully air conditioned and in-suite features include:

About Us
We created Bronte at Prospect Hill in 2009 to indulge our passion for hospitality, nurtured over many decades of almost constant overseas travel. I ( John ) recently retired after 30 years in the aviation industry, first as a Flight Attendant and then as a front line Manager with Air New Zealand, our country's multi award winning airline. We have both travelled extensively together and now Gaye, with a background career in sales and marketing, also likes to indulge in her "home" passions of gardening and home decor.
Together, we have experienced the hospitality of tiny guest houses in remote areas to luxury city hotels and resorts. Often we have thought - "wouldn't it be great if the superb in-room facilities and services of a luxury hotel could be blended with the personality and warmth of a small Bed and Breakfast". When we purchased heritage listed Prospect Hill in 2007 we embarked on our project to accomplish exactly that.
In our unobtrusive style of hospitality, we would love to share our home, our culture and our country with you.
