Situated on a small headland on the shores of the Whangamata Harbour in the Coromandel Peninsula, this large lodge styled home with 1.5 acres of tropical gardens, swimming pool, and tennis court makes for the perfect holiday getaway.
Do as little or as much as you please, kayaking, fishing, tennis, coastal walks, golf or simply lounging by the pool. Ever changing views down the harbour and over forested hills provide a secluded paradise.
Private guest accommodation is located in the west wing of the retreat. Comprising of a luxury two bedroom apartment and separate upstairs master suite, these are perfect for couples, families and friends and can be booked separately or combined to accommodate up to six guests. If you are looking for a unique venue for that special occasion, intimate wedding, birthday or anniversary, we can host smaller groups at the retreat for daytime functions.
Whangamata is a short five minute drive from the retreat. With its spectacular surf beach, shopping, restaurants and cafes you can enjoy the holiday atmosphere of this unique coastal town. Being centrally located, Whangamata is the perfect base to explore the Coromandel Peninsula.

Accommodation
Self Contained Guest Apartment
The self contained guest apartment, capable of accommodating up to four people, has a lounge with TV, Sky, DVD and stereo, kitchenette, master bedroom/king bed and a second bedroom with twin king single beds that can be reconfigured as a king bed, bathroom with walk in shower and second separate toilet. The private patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ provides a peaceful retreat with relaxing views of the Whangamata Harbour.
Master Suite
Upstairs the separate master suite with king bed, lounge, TV, Sky, DVD and stereo, en-suite and two balconies with views over the pool and harbour is perfect for couples that want total privacy. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
The Guest Apartment and Master Suite can be booked separately or combined to accommodate up to six guests and you can choose from either the Self Service or Lodge Hosted option depending on your requirements. The retreat is tastefully furnished and reflects the coastal environment of the Coromandel; the tranquil surroundings of the harbour, bird song and gentle hum of the surf beach in the distance will lull you into a totally relaxed state.
