Completely private, waterfront accommodation with stunning views. It has 2 private beaches, both safe for swimming. There is a new private wharf which is glorious to sit on and cast a line, take a dip or simply relax, reflect, soak up the silence and enjoy the visual symphony which stretches out before you. Also you have a private registered mooring and a dingy onsite.

The cottage has a large living area and the views from all the windows are quite simply breathtaking. This holiday accommodation has a lovely wood fire which makes it so cosy and snug on colder winter nights.

The cottage sits on the edge of a forest and large areas of beautiful native bush, there is a very easy walking road, if you are feeling energetic you can climb up a track right to the top of the saddle or circumnavigate the boundary of the property.

From the cottage you look out over Crail Bay and across the Terawhitinui Reach, right into the head of Beatrix Bay with a glimpse of Forsyth Island in the background.
It really is a completely stunning situation, the views are ever changing with the varying moods of the Pelorus Sound.

The cottage has 2 private beaches, both safe for swimming. It is a 40 second walk from the cottage to the beach and wharf. The wharf extends 50 metres, which is glorious to sit on, take a dip or simply relax, reflect, soak up the silence and enjoy the visual symphony which stretches out before you. On an incoming tide this is the spot to catch that illusive snapper. There is a private registered mooring and a dingy onsite.

Guests at Crail Bay Cottage need to be aware that there is nil access to any shops or restaurant so you must pack everything you require to stay in the wilderness cottage.
