The Kupe Suite
The Kupe Suite is our premier accommodation and named after the Legendary Maori Voyager Kupe who first came here with his people in 950AD, naming our town Te Whitianga a Kupe and meaning Kupe's crossing place. It is one of the few places in New Zealand to commemorate Kupe and following his visit, many of his tribe settled and his ancestors still remain here today in Whitianga, resulting that are the only town in New Zealand who can lay claim to over 1,000 years of continuous inhabitance.
This beautiful appointed and luxurious ocean view apartment offers commanding views over Mercury Bay, Whitianga and the Mountain Ranges, with its own parking area and private entrance making way to a large living / dining area with a well equipped and modern kitchen, breakfast bar with bar stools. There is a full oven, grill, microwave, cooker hob and fully stocked inventory allowing you if you prefer to prepare meals in house during your stay.

The Mercury Bay Suite
The Mercury Bay Suite, a Luxury Double or Twin Guest Suite named after Mercury Bay of which you have commanding views over and made more famous by Captain Cook who anchored the HMS Endeavour in Mercury Bay on 5th November 1769 and from where he observed the transit of Mercury and so this Bay was named.
Your Suite offers the comfort of a Super King Double or Twin Bed Configuration with fine Luxury Egyptian Cotton Bed with Private En-suite, Walk-in Shower and Heated Towel Rail and soft cotton towels, with Toiletries by Linden Leaves of New Zealand leaving your skin feeling soft and pampered.
